This antique "Row-Fit" rowing machine was made by the Converse-Mason (Mason & Converse) Company of Winchendon, Massachusetts which had a short four-year existence from 1879 to 1883. Interesting to see such a piece of exercise equipment from about 140 years ago. It is in very good condition with one repair to the cross member below the piece with the stenciled printing. It would also need rope and perhaps some hand stirrups to operate, but it is a great collectible for anyone associated with the fitness industry or collectors of Winchendon area pieces. The seat, with wooden wheels, rolls smoothly. 48" long and 13" wide.
